Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8+ years of experience in telecom/wireless core operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- HSS (Home Subscriber Server) in LTE networks
- SDM / UDM (Unified Data Management) in 4G/5G environments
- Deep understanding of signaling protocols:
- Diameter protocol (Cx, Sh, S6a, S6d, etc.)
- SS7/MAP (legacy interworking – preferred)
- Experience with subscriber provisioning, authentication, and mobility management.
- Knowledge of telecom architecture: EPC (MME, SGW, PGW) and 5G Core (AMF, UDM).
- Familiarity with database systems (Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, or similar).
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong troubleshooting using logs, traces, and protocol analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vendor platforms such as:
- Nokia HSS / SDM
- Exposure to virtualization and cloud-native deployments (NFV, containers, Kubernetes).
- Experience with private cloud or public cloud environments like Amazon Web Services.
- Understanding of 5G SBA (Service-Based Architecture).
- ITIL certification or strong incident/problem management background
