Job Description:

The Operations Supervisor will assist the Head of Operations for the U.S. business segment in establishing and optimizing the operational management system. This role is responsible for driving the implementation of strategic and monthly operational plans, coordinating across departments to monitor performance, ensuring production targets are met, and facilitating knowledge and system transfers between the U.S. and China headquarters.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Operations Support
  • Assist the Head of U.S. Operations in building the operational management system.
  • Participate in the preparation of long-term strategic plans, annual business plans, and monthly planning and performance monitoring of the U.S. base.
  1. Objective Deployment & Supervision
  • Break down the base-level operational plan to individual departments.
  • Lead the communication, refinement, execution, adjustment, and evaluation of departmental objectives.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and evaluate progress and KPI completion of all functional departments.
  • Consolidate and analyze overall business performance and prepare monthly/quarterly operation analysis reports.
  1. Organizational Optimization
  • Reference the China HQ operational model to assist in optimizing the U.S. base organizational structure.
  • Facilitate collaboration across key business functions: operations, procurement, logistics, and sales.
  1. Production Planning & Oversight
  • Develop production schedules and supervise execution.
  • Ensure on-time, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of products.
  1. Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze daily production-related data, identify abnormalities, and coordinate with quality and process teams to improve performance indicators.
  1. Cross-border Resource Support
  • Work with HR to implement support plans between China and U.S. sites: training programs, personnel dispatch, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support mechanisms.
  1. Lean Management & Project Implementation
  • Introduce lean production practices and project frameworks (e.g., “Ten Production KPIs,” G+Award, operator skill competitions) from China HQ to the U.S. base.
  • Promote China-U.S. base collaboration, benchmarking, and performance evaluations.
  1. Marketing Operations Coordination
  • Reference China HQ’s marketing organization structure to assist in building the U.S. base marketing operations model.
  • Support market development participation, monitor U.S. market dynamics, and adjust operational strategies accordingly.
Work Experience and Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or above 
  • Familiarity with full-scale production operations and management systems.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and functional department structure.
  • Proven cross-functional coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin preferred (for cross-border collaboration).
  • Experience in bridging U.S. and China business operations is a strong asset.
  • Organizational design and process mapping skills.
