The Houston office serves as the North American headquarters for SHI, functioning as the central business operation hub for all our Business Units in the US. This facility is equipped with extensive laboratories, warehouses, and office spaces, and is staffed by over 70 employees.
Sanhua International is looking for an Operation Research Analyst who has a strong background analyzation and statistical methods to join our residential business unit in our Houston office.
Job Duties:- Analyze production, sales, and shipping data using Excel PivotTables and VLOOKUP to identify trends, detect inconsistencies, and support informed decisions.
- Automate production and shipping reporting processes using Excel VBA macros to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and execute SQL scripts, including window functions to aggregate historical data, identify seasonal demand patterns, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Apply statistical methods in R, including control charts, ANOVA, and time-series modeling of sensor data, to assess production performance and recommend process optimizations.
- Design and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards with mapping and CRM integration to enable real-time KPI tracking and operational visibility.
Requirements:
- Completion of Master of Science degree in Operation Research, Business Analytics or a closely related field.
- 6 months of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence dashboard development using Excel, SQL, R, and Tableau.
