Accountable for overall operational performance (SQCDM: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale) for a large-scale operation. Leads and develops teams to achieve production targets, ensure safety and quality standards, and control costs including maintenance. Drives process excellence through systems, benchmarks, and continuous improvement. Aligns department goals with business needs, manages budgets, supports CAPEX planning, and fosters a strong performance-driven, people-focused culture.What You Will Do

- Responsible for development of the organizational capability to get the expected results and provide leadership, direction setting and coaching for their department
- Responsible for the application (and development if needed) of systems and standards (work instructions, procedures for safety, quality, Maintenance, Manufacturing Excellence best practice.
- Responsible for the fulfilment of the maintenance plan (incl. cost).
- Uses internal and external benchmarks to drive performance improvement.
- Contributes to the achievement of the site Compelling Business Need (CBN) and communicates it to the department.
- Develops department objectives aligned with site and unit needs and cascades goals down to the teams
- Ensures the department delivers required production orders according to spec, in time and on cost
- Ensures department works to standards (Safety, Quality, Daily Direction Setting (DDS))
- Accountable for the unit’s operational Budget
- Identifies CAPEX needs to support midterm plans.
- Is a role model and accountable for performance & consequence management, coaching and education within their department.
- Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical/electrical and MBA in Operations will add advantage
- 15+ years of experience in relevant filed
- 5+ years in Leadership role
- Requires ability to take initiative to solve problems.

- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical
- MBA in Operations
- 15+ years of experience in relevant field
- 5+ years in leadership role
- Experience applying systems and standards for safety, quality, maintenance, and manufacturing excellence
- Experience with maintenance planning and cost control
- Ability to take initiative to solve problems
