Reporting to the International Health Intake Lead within the IHDS Strategic Change function, the IH Portfolio Intake Analyst is responsible for administering the intake processes for all requests across International Health Delivery Services. The role will work closely with the IH Portfolio Intake Lead and the other Intake team members, as well as Regional/ Business Portfolio Leads, business SMEs as well as the Technology SMEs to fulfil the Intake process as part of the overall goal of enabling the business unit to meet it's strategic goals.
The role will also have a responsibility in some elements of Portfolio Reporting and ensuring that accurate, timely reports are produced in order that the Portfolio Leaders have accurate information with which to make data driven decisions.
This is a Band 3 role where the successful candidate will be someone who has experience of working with both business and technology partners, preferably in the Health Insurance arena, and who has experience of working in a change/project environment.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be process driven. I am looking for someone who is friendly and personable, and who will uphold the team's reputation as the safe hands at the front door of the IH Portfolio Change function.
Position Description & Responsibilities:
Administration of the Intake Process:-
- Quality checking of intake submissions, checking for appropriate approvals and following up where necessary
- Maintenance of intake submissions within our Intake Tool and ensuring it is kept up to date with progress updates during the intake process.
- General admin associated with intake – Intake tool updates, Jira updates, general sharepoint and confluence updates, upkeep of the shared mailboxes.
- Liaising with Architecture team for assigned architects, set up and admin of intake meetings (capturing and circulating meeting notes and recordings)
- Liaising with Product Managers and business readiness reps regarding business impacts, updating business impact assessment and working with portfolio leads regarding business readiness to start
- Facilitating intake meetings where necessary in the absence of the Intake Lead
- Administration of t-shirt estimates and Business Impact Assessments.
- Ensuring the capacity and allocation model is maintained and up to date at all times to enable accurate use by Portfolio Leads and others.
Reporting
- Working with Architecture and Product Managers to ensure t-shirt and Business Impact assessment status updates are recorded accurately in the Sharepoint tools to enable reporting.
- Producing t-shirt and Business Impact Assessment reports to enable the upholding of process WIP limits.
