Target Salary Range*: $150,000 - $190,000.

Position OverviewThe OpenShift Engineer is accountable for engineering, support, automation, and thought leadership related to Platform-as-a-Service offerings. This role will administer multiple OpenShift clusters and assist project teams with application migrations to Platform-as-a-Service offerings and related activities.

- Support Platform-as-a-Service offerings.
- Provide engineering, support, automation, and thought leadership related to Platform-as-a-Service offerings.

- Assist project teams with application migrations to Platform-as-a-Service offerings.
- Support related application migration activities.
- Apply extensive knowledge of Linux containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications and microservices architectures.
- Support migration and refactoring of applications to containerized workloads.
- Work with automated deployment tools.
- Apply conceptual and practical understanding of DevOps concepts, tools, and practices.
- Work with CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
- Apply working knowledge of Java, JBoss, nginx, Node.js, and enterprise application architectures.
- Apply working knowledge of networking topics such as protocols, firewalls, load balancers, and related areas.
- Communicate complex technical issues.
- Provide comprehensive written, oral, and digital products.

- Working knowledge of SSL certificates.
- Experience with Agile teams, tools, practices, and ceremonies, including kanban, stand-ups, and sprints.

- Container and pod-level monitoring and logging experience with Dynatrace and QRadar.
