ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is designed for HR professionals who have operated HRMS tools and managed statutory
compliance, and are now ready to step into the world of HR-Tech — configuring, implementing, and enabling
these systems for client organizations.
You will work alongside a product and implementation team to map client HR processes into system.
Workflows, configure payroll and compliance modules, and train HR teams. Your on-the-ground HR
experience is your biggest asset here — you understand exactly what end-users need.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. HRMS Implementation & Configuration
▸ Participate in end-to-end implementation of HRMS platforms (Keka / GreytHR / Zoho People or
similar) for client organisations
▸ Configure employee master data, organisation structure, grade/band hierarchies, and approval
workflows
▸ Set up payroll components — earnings, deductions, reimbursements, salary structures — aligned to
client policies
▸ Map and configure leave, attendance, shift, and geo-fencing rules within the HRMS
2. Statutory & Compliance Module Setup
▸ Configure statutory compliance rules for PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and Gratuity within payroll engines
▸ Set up TDS slab logic, investment declaration workflows, and Form 16 generation parameters
▸ Ensure salary structure configurations are compliant with the Code on Wages (50% basic norm, etc.)
▸ Validate statutory reports — ECR, ESI returns, Form 24Q — generated by the system before client
sign-off
3. Client Onboarding & Data Migration
▸ Collect and validate client HR data (employee masters, salary history, statutory data) for migration
▸ Perform data cleansing, template mapping, and bulk upload into the HRMS
▸ Conduct gap analysis between client's existing processes and the HRMS capabilities, documenting
delta items
▸ Prepare and maintain SIT/UAT test cases with expected vs actual results
4. Training & Change Management
▸ Conduct system training sessions for client HR teams covering payroll, compliance, and HRMS
navigation
▸ Prepare user manuals, SOP documents, quick-reference guides, and training decks
▸ Support go-live and hypercare phases, resolving functional queries raised by client HR users
▸ Act as a bridge between the client's HR team and the technical/product team for issue resolution
5. Quality & Documentation
▸ Maintain implementation trackers, BRD (Business Requirement Document) updates, and client sign-
off logs
▸ Log and track open items, CRs (Change Requests), and UAT defects to closure
▸ Contribute to building internal knowledge base, configuration playbooks, and reusable templates

▸ Awareness of Wage Code, 2019 and its impact on payroll structures
▸ Proficiency in MS Excel for data validation and reconciliation (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas)
▸ Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and documentation
Good to Have
▸ Exposure to HRMS implementation, go-live support, or system UAT testing
▸ Basic understanding of SDLC or software project lifecycle in a SaaS environment
▸ Familiarity with requirement gathering or BRD documentation
▸ Experience with ticketing/project tools such as Jira, Zoho Projects, or Trello
QUALIFICATIONS
▸ Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
▸ MBA in HR / PGDM preferred
▸ 6 months to 1 year of experience in HR Ops, Payroll, or Compliance role
▸ Any certification in Payroll, Labour Laws, or HRMS tools will be an added advantage
