The Opportunity:
In this role, you will report to the Regional Director and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

What we’re looking for
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required
- Experience: 2+ years of customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience
- Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to lift to 50lbs
- Previous experience working in a GMP facility is strongly desired
- Strong communication skills

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.
In this role you will:
- Eyewash, Fire Extinguishers, Fume Hoods, etc.
- Collect dirty glassware from labs, wash, return clean glassware
- Autoclave glassware, bioreactor parts, tubing assemblies, etc. as required
- Perform designated weekly lab safety reviews
- Report failures/generate work orders for repair
- Set up and maintain stocking locations for consumables
- Daily management of consumables in labs
- Utilize scanning technology to place product orders
- Receive products, put away stock, de-trash
- Place orders on behalf of the customer using Avantor and Kenvue systems
- Management of inventory turns, overhead, and customer spend
- Perform specialized, scheduled lab cleaning and de-trashing
- Equipment proximity cleaning and biohazard monitoring / removal
- Daily, weekly, monthly verifications – execute proper logbook records as required
- Perform multiple cleaning
- Types per client SOP’s which vary in complexity
- Ensure parts are available when needed and that there are no interruptions to the lab / manufacturing schedule.
- Inactivation of equipment containing product via chemical means.
- Complete all required daily logbooks, physical and electronic, of all sanitization activities ensuring information is accurate
- Operates specialized cleaning equipment as appropriate
