Position Summary
The Lifestyle Director is responsible for developing, implementing, promoting, and evaluating a comprehensive lifestyle program that enhances resident engagement and fosters a vibrant community culture.
Responsibilities
Community Programming and Resident Engagement- Develop and execute an annual lifestyle and recreation calendar.
- Plan signature events, educational programs, wellness activities, and social gatherings.
- Monitor resident engagement and participation levels.
- Coordinate all aspects of community events including planning, logistics, budgeting, vendors, and sponsorships.
- Track attendance, participation, and resident feedback.
- Document and photograph community events.
- Manage newsletters, website content, social media, and promotional materials.
- Develop event marketing campaigns and resident communications.
- Oversee daily operations of the amenity center and recreational facilities.
- Coordinate facility reservations, rentals, and scheduling.
- Support resident clubs, committees, and interest groups.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers.
- Serve as liaison between resident groups and management.
- Develop and administer the annual lifestyle budget.
- Monitor revenues, sponsorship income, and expenditures.
- Prepare reports for management and the Board.
- Strong event planning and project management skills.
- Strong networking and sales skills to effectively secure and maintain sponsorships with local businesses.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.

Qualifications- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum three years of professional experience in event planning, recreation, hospitality, public relations, or community engagement.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must have at least 2 years HOA lifestyle management for a large-scale, Master planned community association.
- Experience managing volunteers and community committees.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
- Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
- Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
- Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
- Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.
Pay and Benefits
$65,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on education and experience)
