The position of Remote Center Operations Supervisor in SSR Subsea Robotics exists for the purpose of supervising remote ROV operations in the Onshore Remote Operations Center (OROC).
This individual will support all remote ROV operations on Oceaneering projects, drilling rigs and other vessels of opportunity.
Responsibilities- Work closely with SSR & OPG Project Management, Service Excellence groups, and clients to schedule remote operations at the OROC.
- In cooperation with Service Excellence technical support group, ensure that equipment at OROC is in a functional state and ready to support remote operations.
- Work with Corporate IT and Integrity Management & Data Solutions groups to maintain robust and secure IT Infrastructure for Remote Operations.
- Assist with the creation of procedures, processes, competencies etc. that are specific to remote operations.
- Assist with the evaluation and qualification of new technologies that support remote operations.
- Ensure standardization of remote services through collaboration with other OROC supervisors.
- Assist Sales, Marketing and Commercial in development of marketing materials, proposal development and contract specifications.
- Ensure that OROC users work to the established standards for operational excellence.
- Provide support to customer representatives attending operational activities at OROC.

REQUIRED
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience offshore industry performing ROV related scopes.
Five (5) years minimum experience working with Oceaneering ROV systems supporting offshore O&G scopes.
Strong piloting skillset / comfortable working under critical path higher pressure situations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, and ERP System, PeopleSoft preferred.
Must hold/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel.
