The Role
We’re looking for an Onshore Project Lead to support our Global Capability Center (GCC) delivery for key Application Development, Cloud Transformation and Data Engineering initiatives, and other initiatives as needed. This role will serve as the onshore anchor for projects executed through the GCC, ensuring strong coordination, clear communication, and alignment between business stakeholders, IT leadership, and offshore delivery teams.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing onshore-offshore or GCC IT programs across distributed teams, good technical understanding of application, data and cloud environments, and a strong ability to translate business priorities into actionable delivery plans. This can be a remote role.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of application development, data pipeline modernization, and cloud migration projects executed via the GCC model.
- Work closely with offshore delivery managers, architects, developers, data engineers, and QA teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
- Assist in managing project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets while ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.
- Assist in project governance including reviews, reporting, and escalation management to maintain transparency with Project Management (PMO).
- Act as the single point of contact for business, IT, and GCC teams on project priorities, progress, and issue resolution.
- Support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) and ensure continuous alignment with business outcomes.
- Partner with architects, data stewards and technical leads on solution design, ETL/ELT workflows, migration strategy, and technical feasibility.
- Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and delivery efficiencies across GCC operations.
- Contribute to strengthening the GCC governance framework and delivery best practices.
- Take initiative to learn and grow as the onshore lead for projects, enabling individual growth and client readiness to lead larger engagements.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2 to 4 years of experience in IT project or program delivery, including 1-2 years managing work across onshore–offshore teams.
- Experience leading application development, data engineering and/or cloud transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, Application Development, DataOps, and DevOps practices.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and migration approaches (re-host, re-platform, re-architect).
- Experience with data pipelines, data lakes, ETL frameworks, and SQL/Python-based data workflows is a strong plus.
- Ability to coordinate multiple streams of work and manage complex dependencies.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams. Responsiveness to immediate client needs and relationship building.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on delivery outcomes.
- PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
