About the Role
We are looking for an organised, customer-focused, and technically skilled Online PLD Delivery LMS Specialist to manage and optimise the IB's Learning Management System (Moodle).
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining online learning environments, ensuring smooth participant enrolment, supporting users with technical queries, and helping to deliver exceptional professional learning experiences to educators around the world. You will work closely with colleagues across Professional Development, IT, and Operations to ensure the LMS functions effectively and continues to
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the IB’s Learning Management System (Moodle) for online workshops, blended learning, and self-paced modules.
- Create and manage online learning spaces, enrolments, and participant access.
- Act as the LMS subject matter expert and provide support for technical and user-related queries.
- Monitor LMS integrations, reporting, and system performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with IT and internal stakeholders to improve processes and support new learning initiatives.
- Contribute to projects that enhance the delivery of professional learning globally.
- Provide excellent customer support to participants, facilitators, and school coordinators.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 2–3 years of experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience with LMS platforms, online learning environments, and Event Management Systems (EMS).
- Strong technical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, web content management, or the education sector is an advantage.
- French and/or Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Immediate or short-notice availability is highly desirable
