Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking Online Course Quality Reviewers - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:

Support the Manager of Quality Assurance and Associate Executive Director of Online Learning as assigned.

Perform internal course reviews according to the COCE’s standards and processes.

Prepare courses for QM certification by reviewing them prior to submission.
-
Perform course build assistance tasks as requested by instructional designers and assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

Assist with other instructional design tasks as assigned.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution with a concentration in Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, Information Technology, Professional Development, or related area and two years in instructional technology, instructional design, quality review or related experience required.
Fluent with Microsoft Windows operating system.
Quality Matters Certified in Higher Education Peer Reviewer Course (PRC) required.
Track record of positive team spirit, flexibility, attention to detail, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Ability to follow-through on directions and assignments in a fluid environment, where faculty, staff, and university needs may shift along the way.
Exhibit flexibility, kindness, and a willingness to continually learn.
Teaching experience at a higher education institution, preferably in online/hybrid/remote formats.
Expert understanding of the Quality Matters standards and higher education rubric.
Knowledge of instructional design theories and frameworks.
Ability to complete assigned work on a short timeline.
High level of proficiency in the use of the Canvas LMS.
Ability to work autonomously and efficiently according to a project management plan.
Salary:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
