Everforth ECS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to work in our Arlington, VA office (Hybrid).
We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to join our team in supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Databricks platform. In this role, you will serve as a primary catalyst for expanding our platform's capabilities by facilitating the onboarding of new datasets, users, workspaces, and analytical use cases. You will bridge the gap between complex technical structures and end-users, ensuring that all access, data structures, and system requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and securely executed.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the end-to-end Databricks platform onboarding lifecycle for new datasets, platform users, tenant workspaces, and critical cybersecurity use cases onto the CISA Databricks platform.
- Actively monitor, review, and manage incoming ServiceNow tickets, ensuring that platform access requests, dataset requirements, and technical incidents are quickly addressed and routed properly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and data owners to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive ingestion requirements, schemas, and usage parameters for incoming datasets.
- Design, model, and maintain clear onboarding workflows, user journeys, and platform architecture diagrams.
- Evaluate incoming data sources, checking for schema consistency, formats, and structural readiness for data and policy alignment before platform ingestion.
- Manage security and access control by strictly enforcing the principle of least privilege across all user access management, role configurations, and workspace policies to safeguard sensitive agency data.
- Provide high-quality customer service, acting as a guide for new tenants to ensure they enabled and understand platform access protocols, ingestion steps, and operational guidelines.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000

- Exposure to or understanding of cloud-based data platforms, preferably Databricks, Apache Spark, or cloud data lakes (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with basic data analysis, data profiling, or querying (SQL) to assist with validating datasets during onboarding.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio (or similar mapping tools) for constructing functional process diagrams and platform workflows.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts, focusing on the principle of least privilege.
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in high-velocity technical queues.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a track record of translating technical requirements to non-technical users.
