About the Role
We’re looking for an Implementation Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the implementation of new customers and programs by developing project strategies, managing cross-functional execution, and ensuring agreed-upon deliverables are completed on time and without service interruption. You will collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle while proactively managing risks, resolving issues, and driving successful client onboarding. This position requires strong project leadership, communication, and organizational skills to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to create implementation strategies.
- Identify critical milestones and risks, establish timelines, and develop implementation project plans.
- Oversee execution of implementation plans and adjust strategies based on project results.
- Identify cross-functional process linkages and facilitate coordination and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with project deliverables, standard operating procedures, business practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform follow-up, validate task execution, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely project completion.
- Record project progress and provide proactive updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in prospecting and the sales cycle, including client visits, proposals, presentations, and customer education.
- Serve as the voice of the customer for product management, operations, sales, market intelligence, and proposal teams.
- Lead or participate as a subject matter expert in cross-functional projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- Project management experience (2+ years).
- Demonstrated change management experience managing work teams and driving cross-functional activities.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software, including Visio and Microsoft Project.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel 10–15%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the leasing industry, specifically financial services, operations, or customer service.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- General business and financial knowledge.
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and change management skills.
- Ability to maintain a solution-oriented approach and drive process improvement.
- Strong project leadership skills, including requirements gathering, risk management, issue resolution, scope management, and resource management.
Location: Currently in Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026.
Compensation
The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 - $104,900 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
