The Onboarding Manager reports directly to the Director of Dallas Operations and leads the administrative and workforce-support functions that enable safe, reliable airport service. The role provides hands-on leadership across payroll, training, employee retention, badging, recruiting oversight, attendance administration, workforce data, and office operations.
The manager turns staffing and workforce data into action; improves the candidate and employee experience; establishes consistent controls and service standards; and ensures the back-office organization supports operational priorities with accuracy, urgency, and accountability.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annual salary (US Dollars)

ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management
Manage the Payroll Supervisor and payroll team; set priorities, performance standards, coverage, and development expectations.
Ensure payroll is accurate, complete, properly reviewed, and closed on time; resolve timekeeping, punch, pay-code, and adjustment issues before deadlines.
Reduce manual payroll-system entries through stronger timekeeping discipline, standardized workflows, accurate source data, automation, and root-cause correction.

Ensure each graduate receives an organized handoff to Operations, including schedule, reporting location, assigned leader, and clear expectations.
Lead employee-retention plans with emphasis on onboarding and the first 30, 60, and 90 days; analyze turnover, early attrition, attendance, and employee feedback and implement measurable corrective actions.
Recruiting, Candidate Experience, and Onboarding
Serve as the Dallas Operations liaison to Talent Acquisition for staffing plans, requisition priorities, candidate pipelines, hiring events, interviews, and difficult-to-fill roles.
Provide local operational oversight for the assigned Talent Acquisition resource and maintain accurate visibility into vacancies, candidate status, hiring activity, and onboarding progress.
Standardize candidate communications, interview flow, hiring-event execution, onboarding instructions, and the handoff from recruiting and training to Operations.
Build relationships with workforce agencies, schools, community organizations, and government programs that expand the local candidate pipeline and strengthen ABM's employer brand.
Badging and Credentialing
Manage the Badging Manager and Badging Coordinators; align appointments and workflows with recruiting and class schedules.
Monitor documentation, background requirements, badging, completion rates, errors, and delays; remove bottlenecks that could affect training or deployment.
Maintain consistent controls for airport identification, SIDA badges, Customs Seals when applicable, and related records.
Attendance, Workforce Data, and Office Administration
Manage the Attendance Administrator and Data Analyst; establish priorities, service standards, reporting expectations, workload coverage, and development plans.
Maintain accurate headcount, rosters, attendance, vacancies, labor costs, and workforce reporting; reconcile systems and turn trends into recommendations for leadership.

Experience with payroll/timekeeping controls and with training, onboarding, retention, badging, recruiting, or other shared-services functions preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable recruiting, HR, scheduling, reporting, collaboration, and operational systems; flexible availability based on operational needs.
