Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group in Houston, Tx, is seeking a Refrigerant Management Administrator/New Technician Onboarding Coordinator to lead the onboarding experience for new field technicians while ensuring company-wide compliance with safety and environmental regulations, particularly in refrigerant management. This role supports both technician readiness and regulatory assurance by delivering structured onboarding, managing EPA and safety certifications, and overseeing refrigerant tracking and documentation processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and skilled at coordinating across departments.
Responsibilities
Compliance & Refrigerant Management:
- Maintain and reconcile refrigerant inventory logs for trucks and shops; track purchasing and usage in Excel and WennSoft.
- Review refrigerant reports for accuracy and follow up on incomplete data.
- Generate and distribute compliance reports to internal teams and customers.
- Manage EPA certification records for all technicians, including onboarding coordination for new certifications.
- Track and schedule fire extinguisher inspections and electrical glove certifications.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records in Asset Panda and SharePoint.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes (EPA, state, local) and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders.
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and assist with internal or external audits.
Technician Onboarding:
- Coordinate and lead onboarding for all new field technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from day one through field deployment.
- Deliver comprehensive training on CMS systems, payroll procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Facilitate hands-on training for MobileTech, XOI, and Asset Panda.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Service Coordination, Safety, and other departments to streamline onboarding processes.
- Maintain onboarding materials and track completion metrics.
- Monitor trainee progress and provide readiness reports to leadership.
- Support ongoing training and upskilling for existing field personnel.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical, business, or administrative field, or 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigerant handling practices preferred.
- Experience with Asset Panda, WennSoft, MobileTech, and XOI a plus.
