THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Combining technical and architectural skills on and around web technologies with business acumen and curiosity to craft solutions that enable transformative web capabilities within Takeda.
• Consult / Embed with business and IT teams to lead the development and sustainability of web solutions. Work with peers to share and bring best practices and drive innovation.
• Enable and provide guidance for complex technical and design decisions for features and solutions involving common web technologies.
• Oversee solution implementation and provide guidance with regard to engineering aspects; ensure Takeda and industry best practices are promoted and investments are leveraged accordingly.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Demonstrates deep knowledge of web technologies, processes, and capabilities in the healthcare industry.
• Crafts solutions on and around Drupal, imparting knowledge to colleagues globally.
• Translates business requirements into solution design, making recommendations for best practices.
• Ensures quality in technical solution design and delivery, conducting sessions with implementation teams to provide detailed inputs.
• Collaborates with implementation teams to develop solutions in line with industry best practices and Takeda standards.
• Articulates differences between solution methods and addresses challenges in integrating solutions built on different platforms.
• Defines systems strategy, develops systems requirements, designs, and prototypes.
• Identifies and solves complex problems impacting global disciplines, overseeing implementations and their implications.
• Participates in defining user requirements, user stories, specifications, and updating/reviewing design documents and process flows.
• Works closely with business product owners, IT team members, and third-party providers to deliver new application solutions and enhancements to existing applications.
• Demonstrates strong expertise in solution design for web technologies.
• Communicates effectively with strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for technology.
• Collaborates with agile team members for end-to-end design and delivery of web products, modules, and features.
• Acts as a self-starter and creative thinker.
• Shows passion for web technologies and their potential to advance organizational goals.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in web technologies, including backend systems like Drupal and ASP.Net, as well as front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, SASS, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular.
• Extensive experience in front-end development, capable of designing complex solutions and optimizing code.
• Proficient in Java, capable of handling highly complex programming challenges and optimizing code (required).
• Preferable experience in C++ programming, capable of navigating highly complex situations (nice-to-have).
• Proficient in Python, capable of designing and implementing sophisticated applications and optimizing code readability and efficiency (required).
• Preferable experience in C programming, capable of designing and implementing advanced projects (nice-to-have).
• Efficiently debugs complex software issues and contributes to the improvement of debugging tools and methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Agile Methodology and Software Development Life Cycle, capable of applying knowledge in highly complex situations.
• Leverages advanced understanding of computer engineering to tackle highly complex issues and recommend improvements.
• Experience in stakeholder relationship management, influential in orchestrating key stakeholders and product teams to turn product vision into reality.
• Deep experience in solution architecture and related principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.
• Extensive experience in designing or implementing solutions or products, preferably with experience in quality improvement.
• Understands design thinking and can explain and convince stakeholders.
• Works with virtual/agile teams in different locations, aligning and adapting different work, culture, and communication styles.
• Demonstrated ability to guide, coach, and mentor colleagues in various technical and process-related areas.
