nVent located in New Berlin, WI or Solon, OH is adding an Omni-Channel Marketing Manager to their team. The Omni-Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and completing comprehensive marketing strategies that grow sales, profitability, and market share across Retail, eCommerce, and Electrical Distribution channels. This role goes beyond marketing support. It requires ownership of strategy and delivery, influence across functions, and leadership in crafting how products and programs succeed in the marketplace.

As the primary marketing liaison for channel partners, you will ensure brand consistency, product visibility, pricing alignment, and promotional efficiency. You will lead commercialization of new products, project lead major customer line reviews, and implement initiatives that strengthen customer engagement and deliver measurable business results.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

Channel Strategy & Execution

  • Develop, implement, and complete channel-specific marketing programs, promotions, and campaigns that drive demand and revenue growth in Retail, eCommerce, and Electrical Distribution.

  • Serve as the central conduit between internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on product launches, promotions, and inventory planning.

  • Lead retail and distribution line reviews, crafting compelling sales tools and presentations to secure placement and growth opportunities.

  • Manage and optimize the online shopping experience, merchandising strategy, and digital content for eCommerce partners.

Pricing & Promotions
  • Develop and implement Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies across all channels to protect brand value.

  • Monitor pricing compliance, conduct competitive price analyses, and recommend adjustments to improve profitability and market positioning.

  • Plan, negotiate, and complete promotional calendars and funding agreements with channel partners.

  • Monitor, assess, and communicate promotion results to improve upcoming campaigns.

Product Launches & Merchandising
  • Partner with Product Development and Sales to complete successful product introductions across all channels.

  • Recommend efficient product assortments using category management, market data, and end-user insights.

  • Ensure marketing materials and product content are accurate, brand-compliant, and delivered on time.

Events & Trade Shows
  • Plan and manage participation in key industry events, trade shows, and customer-specific events.

  • Coordinate event logistics, budgets, booth design, product displays, and marketing collateral.

  • Measure and report on the return on investment from events to guide future participation.

Market Insights & Analytics
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to find opportunities and mitigate risks.

  • Analyze sales data, market share, and profitability metrics for actionable insights.

  • Provide regular channel performance reports to key collaborators.

S&OP and Forecasting Support
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to contribute accurate demand forecasts based on promotions, market intelligence, and historical data.

  • Identify and communicate potential supply chain risks or opportunities tied to marketing activities.

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in channel marketing, trade marketing, or retail marketing.

  • Proven experience managing MAP pricing and promotional programs.

  • Demonstrated success in leading line reviews and engaging with retail buyers.

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and supply chain dynamics.

  • Experience contributing to S&OP or demand planning processes.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Highly analytical with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Outstanding cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and marketing analytics tools.

  • Ability to travel 15% - 20% of the time for trade shows, retailer meetings, etc.

  • Experience with specific retail management software or CRM systems preferred.
