Role Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst will independently manage analytical workstreams, working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into structured analyses and actionable insights. This role requires strong business acumen, advanced SQL and Excel capabilities, and the ability to interpret financial statements. The Senior Analyst will lead medium to large analytical modules, guide junior analysts, and ensure clarity and quality across deliverables. They will play a key role in connecting data to commercial and operational performance, especially within manufacturing environments
Experience & Skills Requirements:
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to independently structure and solve business problems
Strong business acumen and the ability to connect analytical findings to commercial or operational impact
Ability to interpret financial statements and analyze trends in revenue, costs, margins, assets, and cash flows
Excellent communication skills to work directly with stakeholders and clarify requirements
4+ years of proven experience with SQL and Excel (non-negotiable), including advanced queries and modeling
Experience in KPI modeling, pricing analysis, operational efficiency, or supply chain analytics
Ability to guide junior analysts by reviewing their queries, models, and thought process
Understanding of data structures, relational tables, joins, and query optimization techniques
Prior experience in manufacturing analytics is strongly preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of stakeholders (both internal and external)
Willingness to travel as required to meet client needs
Key Requirements:

Analyze and interpret financial statements to uncover improvement opportunities or performance gaps
Break down ambiguous business questions into structured analytical tasks and clear deliverables.
Estimate effort based on inputs, expected value, and data complexity
Prepare executive-ready summaries that articulate insights clearly and persuasively
Ensure data governance, consistency, and adherence to analytical best practices
Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions with clients and translate needs into analytical plans
Build sophisticated operational, commercial, or financial models to support strategic decisions
Mentor Analysts in query-writing, modelling, and business understanding
Identify risks early, propose mitigation steps, and maintain clear communication on progress
