The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Recruiting Lead, the Recruiting Coordinator coordinates the day-to-day operations of recruiting Experienced Consultants in Europe. Responsibilities include ensuring a smooth recruiting process to help that the hiring goals are achieved while addressing the logistical, geographical and branding issues of recruiting experienced consultants with a focus on building a diverse candidate pool.
Please Note: Oliver Wyman operates a hybrid working policy and we will require the successful candidate to work from the London office at least 60% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source candidates with different levels of experience for diverse Practice Groups in the different markets in Europe using various channels including direct sourcing on LinkedIn and referrals.
- Review and process CVs according to the defined criteria and coordinate screening by Practice Groups
- Work together with Executive Assistants responsible for scheduling interviews for all interviewing rounds, communicating with those relevant to the process
- Collaborate with Partners, Consultants and Executive Assistants to ensure that recruitment processes run smoothly.
- Coordinate feedback and offer process, ensuring evaluation and hiring guidelines are followed while providing a great candidate experience
- Obtain necessary approvals and produce contract and offer letter documents using Oliver Wyman formatting styles and obtain references
- Provide insight and manage local operational/contractual nuances for European Geographies
- Coordinate and assist in the new hire process and on-boarding procedures, including managing start dates
- Liaise with the HC Services team to ensure files are complete, visa issues are identified, etc.
- Work with Talent Management, Learning & Development and Operations teams to ensure successful integration of new staff
- Maintain/update recruiting IT system (WorkDay) and required databases to ensure accuracy of information for firm use
- Assist with other areas of recruitment projects as required.
Experience Required:
- Up to 2 years of experience working internally within an HR function or within the services industry
- Ideally you already gained experience with coordinating interview processes, direct sourcing and/or building candidate pipelines
Skills and Attributes:
- You have the desire to work in an international environment within a European team
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong intellect and common sense with a focus on customer service
- An excellent command of details and ability to follow-up
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English
- A team player able to function independently, but collaboratively, in a fast-paced environment
- Highly self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities

Technical Skills:
- A thorough knowledge of Word and Excel to maintain spreadsheets and database.
