Oliver Wyman, a Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) business, is a management consulting firm driven by deep industry insight, bold innovation, and a collaborative approach that cuts through complexity to help organizations navigate their most defining transformative moments.
Job Overview:
Oliver Wyman is seeking a Product Strategy Designer to strengthen product strategy through design at the initiative and epic level, operating upstream of delivery. This role sits within the Global Creative Studio and partners closely with Product Strategy, Product Design, and Research teams to shape product direction before execution decisions are made.
The Product Strategy Designer focuses on concept development, value articulation, and strategic design to support investment decisions, prioritization, and roadmap definition. The role translates strategic intent into clear, user-centered product concepts that align stakeholders and provide strong direction for downstream delivery teams.
Working as part of the product strategy workstream, the Product Strategy Designer:
Collaborates with Product Strategy leadership to ensure strategic objectives are reflected in tangible, design-led concepts
Partners with Product Design teams to establish strategic framing, coherence, and guardrails across initiatives
Works with Research and Insights teams to ground strategy in validated user needs, workflows, and real-world contexts
This role represents the voice of the end user at the strategy level, ensuring that product decisions are informed by user value, usability, and long-term product coherence—before commitments are locked into delivery.
The Product Strategy Designer does not own delivery or detailed interaction design. Instead, the role ensures that product strategy is:
Clearly articulated through design concepts and narratives
Consistently grounded in user insight and research
Aligned with Oliver Wyman’s product vision and client needs
Ready for confident investment and execution decisions
As a strategic complement to Product Strategy leadership, this role embeds user-centered design thinking into early-stage decision-making and strengthens alignment across strategy, design, and delivery.

Develop future-state product concepts and high-fidelity designs that articulate value, experience, and strategic intent from the business ranging from day to day concepts to executive ready presentations
Translate strategy into initiative-level designs that guide prioritization and roadmap decisions
Partner with Product Design teams to guide design direction and ensure coherence across Quotient Inside products
Collaborate closely with Research and Insights teams, including user interview assistance, to embed deep user empathy into product strategy
Pressure-test concepts with product, engineering, and delivery partners to ensure feasibility
Contribute to shared standards and best practices for product strategy and concept design
Experience Required:

Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, strategic thinking, and high-fidelity design
