Job Description

We are looking for a colleague, who would join our team and help us to build and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of the offshore wind farm's operations and activities. Your key areas of responsibilities will be:

  • Work in close partnership with government authorities to ensure that developing project fulfill the required processes successfully
  • Engaging with local stakeholders to understand their concerns, feedback, and needs, and ensuring these are addressed in a timely and effective manner
  • Developing and implementing community outreach programs and initiatives to educate local communities about the benefits of wind energy and the wind farm's operations
  • Designing, implementing and managing community engagement programs to ensure positive impacts on the local community and to demonstrate the company's commitment to social responsibility
  • Planning, organizing, and participating in community events, such as open days, town hall meetings, and educational workshops
  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of community relations activities, including stakeholder feedback, community engagement metrics, and community benefit programs
  • Identifying, assessing and managing risks related to community relations activities, including reputational risks and stakeholder concerns
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to community relations, environmental, and social impacts.

Qualifications

  • Have a university degree in management, energy, law or economics
  • Have proven experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach, preferably within the renewable energy sector
  • Are able to manage complex projects, including the development and implementation of community benefit programs
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Have strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals
  • Are skilled in managing stakeholder relationships, including local communities, government agencies, and non-government organizations
  • Are proficient user in English.
