Support the efficiency of risk management process by promptly identifying key risks and working actively with the risk manager to resolve such risks.
Providing independent control, oversight, and analytical support over investment lifecycle, trading, and advisory processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Performing valuation for all funds and managing the spectrum of the valuation process(es) and ensuring a same day valuation pricing and communication.
Trade and transaction controls and ensuring compliance with established governance protocols such as Investment committee, Deal Approval committee, and other internal policies, processes, and procedures.
Critical reconciliation and exception management reporting of trade, client position, securities, brokers’ position, corporate actions, bank, valuation system, and custodians’ position.
Data, Management Information, and Analytics. This will involve producing risk control dashboards, monitor exposures, perform trend analysis, portfolio analytics, and maintaining the integrity of system data and information.
Report renditions for all investment funds, products, and security transactions such as Imminent maturity, coupon payment trackers, mutual fund NAVs, income attribution analysis, risk metric, SBPR performance reports, Client service reports, risk research, and yield analysis etc. This may include providing relevant reports to regulators as well.
Risk assessments and reporting on concentration, liquidity, counterparty, contagion, credit, counterparty, IRR, model risk, and so on, for varying funds, business units, and products.
Act as liaison officer for front office (PM, sales, client service) and Back office (Operations and Finance), to ensure all transactional discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.
Monitor and support the resolution of system/platform related issues across business units and automation processes.
Any other activities, as maybe assigned by the risk manager.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent. Master's degree will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, portfolio management or control function.
• Professional qualifications including CFA, CIS, ACCA or FRM are desirable.
Skills & Experience
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and instruments, investment products, valuation methodologies, and capital market intricacies.
• Demonstrated ability in managing complex stakeholders.
• Strong risk management understanding with proven ability in risk assessments in capital market operations.
• Sound competence in Excel, Power BI, SQL, Bloomberg, portfolio management systems and project management.
• Good experience in risk audit assurance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and problem solver.
• Proven risk research capabilities
• Ability to work on multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
