About Zip Security

Cybersecurity for growing businesses is broken — even enterprises spend heavily across hundreds of disconnected tools for marginal real-world benefit. For startups and mid-sized firms, this gap often means forgoing security entirely, or cobbling together a solution that leaves them vulnerable in other ways. At Zip Security, we build solutions that make enterprise cybersecurity effective and doable for growing businesses of all kinds, whether or not they have a security team in house.
Our product is a complete security program that automates device management, endpoint security, identity and access management, compliance, and managed IT and security operations to keep teams of all kinds protected. We help our customers pick their right security frameworks, correctly deploy the tools, policies, and controls they need, and keep everything enforced over time, so their business is protected and compliant, 24/7.

Zip is at the cutting edge of what’s possible in cybersecurity, and dedicated to delivering value for our customers. It’s a big part of why we’re backed by Ballistic Ventures. Major platforms are opening APIs that enable automated management at scale, new government initiatives are surfacing global threat data, and we're positioned to be the first to properly integrate all of it. We're looking for driven, talented people to help us get there. If this resonates with you, we invite you to consider building alongside our team.

About the Role

Zip Security just opened our new NYC office, and as our team continues to grow and scale, we’re looking for an Office Manager to help make it a place people are excited to come to every day. You’ll shape the energy and experience our team, new hires, candidates, customers, and other visitors feel when they walk through the door. From keeping the space organized and stocked to coordinating vendors, meals, events, and new-hire office setups, you·ll make sure the details are handled and the office runs smoothly. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating a welcoming, high-functioning workplace and keeping things moving.

What You Will Build at Zip Security
  • Own the day-to-day operations and overall experience of our NYC office, making sure the space is organized, welcoming, and ready for the team each day.

  • Keep the office fully stocked and running smoothly, from snacks, coffee, and supplies to

  • deliveries, facilities requests, and everyday workplace needs.

  • Manage office vendors and building relationships, coordinating maintenance, services, and other workplace logistics.

  • Create a smooth first-day experience for new hires by coordinating desk setup, supplies,

  • badges, and other in-office onboarding needs.

  • Coordinate team meals, meetings, celebrations, and company events, and serve as a friendly point of contact for employees and visitors.

  • Build simple, repeatable office processes that help the workplace scale smoothly as the team grow

We believe great teams are built by curious people who care deeply about learning, collaboration, and ownership. At Zip Security, you’ll have the autonomy to contribute ideas, shape decisions, and help build both our product and our culture. If you’re excited about the role, we encourage you to apply — even if your experience doesn’t perfectly align with every qualification.

  • A hospitality-minded approach and genuine excitement about creating a great in-office experience for employees, new hires, and visitors.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the judgment to work effectively with teammates, vendors, building management, and guests.

  • Comfort juggling multiple priorities, solving practical problems, and following through without a lot of oversight.

  • Excitement about being hands-on and regularly present in our NYC office to help the team and workplace run
