40Summary:
The Office Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the functions of the office by providing support and guidance to the staff. Consults with the Practice Manager regarding methods for controlling operational costs and maintaining efficient office operations. Assumes responsibility for the Practice Manager’s role in their absence.
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
3 years’ experience working in a healthcare clinical setting including demonstrated leadership experience gained through formal supervision or through leading people, projects, programs, operational or business initiatives is required.
Knowledge of medical billing and diversified insurance plans.
Basic understanding of general office procedures and general accounting principles.
Solid understanding of coding and third-party requirements.
Insurance precertification experience strongly preferred.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heart saver certification required as defined by department.
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
