Provides strong customer support to internal customers relating to mail, shipping, receiving, and copying. Responsible for processing, collection, and distribution of Company mail. Coordinates all activities related to shipping and receiving of incoming/outgoing packages. Processes customer requests for duplicating services. Provides general upkeep and maintenance to postage, processing, and copy equipment with the ability to trouble shoot operational problems and schedule repairs as necessary. Maintains inventory of mail, shipping, and copy supplies for department and Company copiers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sorts and prepares incoming and inter-office mail for internal delivery.
Delivers and collects mail and inter-office correspondence within the building.
Prepares outgoing mail for post office by affixing proper postage to letters and packages in accordance with USPS regulations, and by utilizing postal processing equipment.
Organizes large Company mailings. Folds and inserts documents for bulk mailings, operating automated inserting equipment, or by following manual procedures.
Records and distributes incoming materials, prepares outbound shipments of packages and tracks the flow of overnight express shipments.
Schedules the flow of Company records storage. Requests retrievals and refiles while verifying shipment accuracy.
Processes large volume copy requests, using high volume, and sophisticated duplicating equipment.
Provides up keep and maintenance for department equipment and walk up copiers. Schedules vendor repairs as needed.
Ensures an appropriate inventory of mail, shipping, and copy supplies for the department and for the convenience copy machines.
Assists customers with mailing, shipping and copying needs.
All other duties as assigned.
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one-year previous related experience in a high volume-servicing environment. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of postal rules and regulations required. Familiarity with UPS, Federal Express, and U.S. Postal Service interface preferred.
Operating experience with high volume, duplicating equipment.
Proven ability to work well in a high visibility, publicly oriented environment.
Must be able to consistently meet established schedules and deadlines.
Ability to interact with customers of all levels, in a professional manner.
Capable of processing large volumes of work during peak periods.
Report to Philadelphia office 5 days/week.
Overtime may be required.
Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
