The Role

Pay: $24.00/hr

Williams Lea is hiring for an Office Services Associate for our New York City office to work Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm!

The Porter plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional office environment. This position supports the delivery of “white glove” hospitality standards across all floors by ensuring restrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and common spaces are serviced throughout the day. The Porter works closely with Hospitality, Reception, and Facilities teams to ensure every space is guest-ready, fully stocked, and operating efficiently. 

Job Duties:

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of conference areas, kitchens, restrooms, and common spaces according to schedule and quality standards.

  • Conduct restroom checks and servicing throughout the day, with frequent attention to high-traffic areas.
  • Ensure soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and cleaning supplies are consistently replenished.
  • Support room resets and event setups, including moving furniture, cleaning surfaces, and restoring layouts after meetings or functions.
  • Collect trash and recyclables regularly; transport waste to designated collection areas.
  • Assist with pantry restocking, supply deliveries, and organization of storage areas.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks on Fridays or during quiet periods, including vacuuming, dusting, and polishing glass and surfaces.
  • Report maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to the site lead or supervisor.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the required all-black uniform (black shirt, pants, and shoes).
  • Communicate effectively via Microsoft Teams for task updates and shift coordination.
  • Adhere to Williams Lea and client site safety and cleanliness standards at all times.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in facilities, janitorial, or hospitality operations preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and carrying throughout the shift.
  • Basic familiarity with cleaning tools, materials, and safety procedures.
  • Customer service orientation and professional demeanor required.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be able to interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be self-motivated with positive can-do attitude.

Working Conditions:

  • Position operates on-site in a professional corporate environment.
  • Requires frequent movement between floors and service areas.
  • Must be able to work standing for extended periods.
  • Overtime may be required for events or special projects.
  • Professional appearance and conduct are required at all times.
