About the Role

Sygaldry is seeking an organized, dependable, and hands-on Office Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our Ann Arbor office.

This person will help keep the office organized, stocked, and welcoming while supporting lunches, meetings, events, mail, packages, and other day-to-day needs.

What You'll Do
  • Keep the office organized, stocked, and ready for use, including meeting rooms, kitchens, shared spaces, supply areas, and workstations.

  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.

  • Notify employees when packages or time-sensitive deliveries arrive.

  • Order and coordinate food and beverages for team lunches, meetings, visitors, and office events.

  • Handle setup and breakdown for lunches, meetings, and events.

  • Assist with vendor appointments, office projects, and workspace changes.

  • Maintain basic office inventories, checklists, receipts, and order records.

  • Identify office or facilities needs and communicate them promptly.

  • Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Strong Candidates Will Have:
  • Previous experience in office support, administration, hospitality, events, or customer service is preferred.

  • Organized and attentive to detail.

  • Dependable and able to follow tasks through to completion.

  • Proactive, helpful, and comfortable with hands-on tasks.

  • Warm and professional communication style.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

  • Comfortable using Google Workspace, Slack, and other common workplace tools.

  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to move throughout the office and assist with routine meeting and event setup.

  • Ability to occasionally move or lift office supplies, packages, food orders, and event materials, with reasonable accommodations available as needed.
