Office Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and bilingual Office Manager to oversee administrative operations, human resources functions, and financial processes in our Manizales office. This role combines a background typically held by an HR Generalist and a Staff Accountant, making it ideal for a professional with a strong background in both HR and accounting.

This is a fulltime permanent position based at our Manizales, Colombia campus, with an onsite requirement Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources (HR):

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Collaborate with BSG Recruiting team
• Administer benefits, leave tracking, and compliance with local labor laws.
• Support employee relations and performance management initiatives.
• Coordinate training and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with Colombian labor regulations and company policies.
  

Payroll Processing:

• Prepare and process bi-weekly/monthly payroll for all employees.
• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, and benefits.
• Collaborate with external payroll providers or internal systems.
• Handle payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  

Accounting & Invoicing:

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry and reconciliation.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors as needed.
  

Office Administration:

• Oversee day-to-day office operations and supplies.
• Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and internal communications.
• Serve as the point of contact for vendors and service providers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in HR and accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of Colombian labor laws and payroll regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and HRIS systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
