Thales Czech Republic is seeking an Office Manager to oversee the daily running of our office and lead our Facility Team. In this role, you will ensure smooth office operations, manage suppliers, support budgeting and reporting, and help maintain a productive workplace. You will report to the Finance & Operations Manager.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day office operations and lead a small facility team (2 assistants + receptionist)
Oversee office premises: lease administration, coordination with landlord and suppliers, cleaning services, seating plans, minor office layout changes, and equipment/furniture purchasing and inventory
Prepare regular reports for corporate HQ (HSE, Climate & Energy) and support budgeting for office operations
Drive Business Continuity, Resilience, and Crisis Management activities and annual reporting
Manage company car fleet and mobile devices/subscriptions
Handle top-level accommodation and travel arrangements
Organize and supervise on-site and external events
Conduct local purchasing: supplier negotiations, small tenders, supplier selection, and contracting with support from other teams
Support local procurement processes and approvals across all departments
Participate as a member of the Damage Commission
Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in Czech and English
Confident negotiator
Experience in office management, team leadership, and working with corporate systems (purchasing, reporting)
Experience in corporate purchasing management
