Job Summary:

The Office Manager will oversee a variety of day-to-day office, administrative, and support tasks. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reception, administrative and clerical support, inventory control and office staff supervision.

                                                                                                    

Job Responsibilities

  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies and equipment
  • Manages relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord
  • Develop office policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented appropriately
  • Provide direct administrative support as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, booking travel, mailing, and shipping packages
  • Provide ad-hoc support to office and other staff members and departments as needed, including organizing team events onsite
  • Assists and maintains various reports as requested
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies; orders new supplies as needed.
  • Allocate tasks and assignments to subordinates and monitor their performance
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of office administration and clerical experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational and planning skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff and external partners.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle confidential matters with the utmost discretion.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and work with a sense of urgency to accomplish results.
  • Extensive knowledge of office management procedures

Physical Demands

  • Employee must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
  • Employee must have the ability to see written documents, computer screens and to adjust focus
  • This job is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment

                                                                                                     

The Targeted Salary Range for this Illinois State position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually.  
Hourly roles are overtime eligible; Operations roles are Productivity Pay eligible.

Ultimate compensation will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, skills, scope and responsibility of the position, as well as pursuant to salary market benchmarks. This salary range is a good-faith estimate of the salary for this position.
