Batterjee Medical College is seeking a highly organized and professional Office Manager to support the Dean’s Office and ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day administrative operations.
The role is responsible for managing office coordination, documentation, schedules, communication, and administrative follow-up while serving as a professional point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will maintain a high level of professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and service excellence in supporting the Dean’s Office.
Office Administration
- Coordinate the daily administrative operations of the Dean’s Office.
- Organize and maintain office files, records, correspondence, and documentation systems.
- Ensure documents and records are securely maintained and easily retrievable.
- Complete routine and ad-hoc administrative tasks accurately and within required timelines.
- Prioritize assignments based on urgency and importance and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
- Maintain an organized and efficient office environment.
- Manage professional written and verbal communication, including emails, telephone calls, memos, and meetings.
- Communicate office updates, schedules, policies, and relevant information accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate with Academic Affairs, HR, Finance, Administration, and other departments to support the requirements of the Dean’s Office.
- Serve as a professional point of contact for faculty, staff, students, parents, visitors, and external stakeholders.
- Handle inquiries professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Prepare, review, organize, and maintain official documents and correspondence.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission or circulation.
- Support scheduling, filing, communication, and documentation processes using appropriate office systems and digital tools.
- Assist with departmental and College-level meetings, workshops, symposia, and other official activities.
- Support team members and coordinate administrative requirements to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive institutional and executive-level information.
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach in all interactions.
- Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and administrative departments to support institutional objectives.
- Demonstrate strong time management and punctuality for meetings, deadlines, and official commitments.
- Maintain professional conduct and uphold BMC policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in administrative roles, office coordination, or operations support.
- Experience within higher education or healthcare is preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office management software.
