Position Summary

Supervises all terminal administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations. Oversees recruitment, addresses employee inquiries, and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supervises administrative team activities, ensuring efficient operations and customer service.
  • Trains and develops employees to improve performance and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Manages recruitment for terminal personnel, including candidate sourcing, interviews, and hiring processes.
  • Performs new hire orientations and ensures training requirements are met.
  • Monitors terminal compliance with regulations and company policies, coordinating training and documentation.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for employee benefits, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Maintains confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of administrative experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
