Coastal Health is seeking an experienced, organized, and motivated Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of one of our growing medical practices. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills, a commitment to exceptional patient care, and the ability to manage both administrative and clinical office workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support front office and clinical staff.
  • Manage staffing schedules, timekeeping, onboarding, and training.
  • Monitor office workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Address patient concerns and resolve service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate provider schedules and support operational needs.
  • Monitor office inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership on performance goals, quality initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Assist with revenue cycle processes, including registration, insurance verification, and front-end collections.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered work environment.
Qualifications
  • Previous medical office management or healthcare leadership experience required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical office operations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, HIPAA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other healthcare software.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably with coursework in health care administration.

Experience: Minimum three years of healthcare experience required, including one year of management or specific leadership experience in health care.
