Essential Job Functions
- Processing payroll for multiple sites, to include input and vacation tracking for hourly employees and reconciliation of payroll; tracking absenteeism system and maintaining points tracking for multiple location; managing weekly crewing for plant(s)
- Performing basic HR support functions including but not limited to, employee and retiree insurance and payroll information, FMLA, S&A, and Life Insurance; coordinating accident information to insurance carrier, maintains OSHA logs and manages submittal process
- Performing benefits orientation for new hires; maintaining accurate wage increases and benefits for new hires and training on jobs; managing and tracking the job bid posting process; maintaining plant seniority records
- Labor Management Team Scribe; collecting, logging, and maintaining grievances at multiple locations; managing the Wellness committee for multiple locations
- Performing general office administration - incoming/outgoing mail & plant calls; post plant communication and recognition; support to plant visitors; maintaining current and historical employee records.
Scope of Responsibility
The Office Manager; Multi-Site is responsible for the administrative and clerical functions in support of plant operations.
Decision Making
The Office Manager; Multi-Site receives general instruction, analyzes work, and determines action to be taken within standard practice and procedure.
Education / Skills / Knowledge
High school diploma or GED certificate
Requires computer operation skills including, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Requires strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team and individual environment
Requires analytical skills and the ability to assemble data
Requires time management and organization skills with accurate and precise attention to detail
Requires time management skills
Work Experience
The Office Manager; Multi-Site requires two (2) – four (4) years of hands-on administrative support experience in a manufacturing office environment.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Physical Activity: Requires more than 2/3 of time using hands/fingers to handle and/or feel or reaching with hands and arms; 1/3 to 2/3 of time sitting, talking or hearing; less than 1/3 of time standing or walking.
Lifting: Requires lifting up to 25 pounds less than 1/3 of time.
Vision: Requires accurate close and distance vision and the ability to focus.
Environment: Requires more than 2/3 of time in an office setting with very limited exposure.
Noise: Requires exposure to moderate noise.
