Location: Aspen, CO

A Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) applies to onsite positions only based on applicable FTE. Telehealth/Remote employees are not eligible.

  • Hourly employees working in Aspen receive a COLA of $3.88 per hour.

Position qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.  Current Colorado Driver License with acceptable driving record required.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in behavioral health, healthcare, care coordination, case management, or medical office administration preferred. Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance processes, as well as integrated behavioral healthcare, is preferred. Familiarity with community resources throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish are preferred.



Job purpose: The Office Coordinator / Behavioral Health Care Coordinator serves as the operational and care coordination hub for the Aspen Outpatient Office. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations while providing person-centered behavioral health care coordination that promotes timely access to services, continuity of care, and positive client outcomes. Working collaboratively with the Open Access Team, outpatient clinicians, psychiatric providers, community partners, and administrative support departments, this position facilitates seamless transitions from initial assessment through ongoing outpatient treatment. The role combines administrative leadership with direct client support to reduce barriers to care, improve client engagement, and promote recovery through coordinated, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive services. This position serves as a key ambassador for Health Solutions West by fostering a welcoming environment, strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration, supporting efficient clinic operations, and ensuring clients experience a smooth and compassionate journey throughout the continuum of outpatient behavioral healthcare.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Work is performed primarily within an outpatient behavioral health clinic.  Frequent interaction with clients experiencing behavioral health and substance use challenges.  Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and computer use throughout the workday.  Ability to occasionally lift and move up to twenty-five (25) pounds.  Occasional travel throughout the service area to coordinate client services or attend meetings.  Ability to safely respond to behavioral health crisis situations using approved de-escalation techniques.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
