WHO WE ARE
Arsenal Biosciences Inc. is a clinical-stage programmable cell therapy company engineering advanced CAR T-cell therapies for solid tumors. We seek a talented and experienced temporary part-time Office Coordinator to work onsite in our South San Francisco office. The assignment is initially set for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension based on business needs. It is a part-time role, offering 20 hours per week.

ArsenalBio’s mission and purpose are very clear: defeat cancer. With our programmable and computationally driven approach, our team is engineering medicines to attack cancer’s inherent multifaceted nature and overcome the challenges of addressing solid tumors with cell therapy.

We are looking for an Office Coordinator to join the ArsenalBio Facilities team. This role will report to the Associate Director of Lab Operations and will be responsible for coordinating workplace services and providing general office support at our South San Francisco location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Be the primary liaison between ArsenalBio and various workplace vendor services, including janitorial, landlord, meals, snacks, first aid, and the front desk/security
  • Act as an initial point of contact for administrative/office related questions
  • Coordinates badging, building access, and parking requests
  • Point of contact for meeting room/conference room setup/takedown for larger group meetings, plus guest management services (check-in, catering lunches, etc.)
  • Provide support for general office duties as needed, including organizing and ordering office supplies, organizing common areas, and greeting visitors/vendors
  • Administer other miscellaneous facilities and office-related tasks as needed

WHO YOU ARE

  • High School diploma with 2+ years of relevant operational/administrative support experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service mentality and problem solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to be responsive and follow through effectively
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of basic facilities management
  • Certification in office administration
  • Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience with exposure to laboratory settings is a plus

The estimated base salary for the preferred primary location of the San Francisco Bay area ranges from $33.56–$41.11/hour. Base pay may vary based on job-related knowledge, experience, education, and location.  In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
