We are currently looking for an office coordinator to join our busy primary packaging and materials testing laboratory. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our team – perfect for someone who loves keeping things running smoothly, solving problems, and bringing structure to a busy environment.
As our Office Coordinator, you will be the go-to person who keeps the department moving.
Main responsibilities include
- Clear and professional client communication, supporting with issue of test reports, proposals and purchase orders.
- Update and maintain Customer Relationship Management system
- Provide essential financial administration support, including raising new projects, new customers, initiating invoices, processing customer purchase orders and liaising directly with clients to resolve queries.
- Work closely with our finance team to arrange credit checks and payments.
- Absence cover on reception.
- Oversee stock control to ensure resources are available as needed and raising supplier purchase orders for consumables and equipment calibration/maintenance.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured tasks, steady workflows, and serving as a reliable source of support for the team. Strong proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner) is essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and external clients. Attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines are essential in this position.
