We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Office Associate to join our LiveWell Counseling Center. The front office associate serves as the first point of contact in greeting patients and visitors. Performs routine office work to assist clinical staff with secretarial duties. Answers telephone and schedules appointments. Demonstrates an understanding of, and embraces, the mission statement of Christian Health.


Competencies:

  • Greet patients and visitors with a smile and positive attitude upon entering which  will create a welcoming and positive first impression. 
  • Informs Office Manager of whereabouts when leaving the office to adequately provide coverage for the front office. 
  • Must be able to answer high volume calls. 
  • Retrieve and review overnight messages from call service. 
  • Schedules and cancel patient appointments, process payments, draft letters, sort mail, retrieve and resolve email inquiries. 
  • Previous customer service experience. 
  • Distribute messages for medication refills. 
  • Must be able to switch roles throughout the day. 

Psych Consult Process:

  • Reviews any changes of address, phone numbers and insurance. Updates systems and informs Finance of any changes immediately. 
  • Ensures all patient information is uploaded to EMR. 
  • Able to address and resolve patient issues effectively. 
  • Must maintain a clean, tidy and well organized work station. 
 

Schedule:  Full time, 8am-4pm Monday - Friday.


Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrates compliance with the CHCC ASPIRE Standards of Performance.


Qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience in Medical office. One (1) year experience in customer service. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of Insurance is a plus. 
  • Must have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
