Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Finance and Financial
Controls
· Supporting end-to-end salary processing
activities from a finance and compliance perspective
· Verification and reconciliation of payroll
inputs and outputs
· Review of statutory deductions including income
tax and other applicable contributions
· Assisting in preparation of payroll-related
financial reports and reconciliations
2. Provident Fund and Pension Fund
Administration
· Processing withdrawals, transfers, and
settlements of employee provident fund accounts
· Supporting pension-related compliance and
documentation
· Assisting in reconciliation of provident fund
contributions and records
· Liaising with regulatory authorities and
internal stakeholders for compliance-related matters
3. Gratuity and Other Retirement
Benefit Administration
· Supporting computation and processing of
gratuity and retirement settlements
· Verification of service records and benefit
eligibility
· Maintaining documentation and compliance records
relating to retirement benefits
4. Statutory Compliance and Taxation
· Assisting in monthly and annual tax deduction
compliance activities
· Supporting preparation and reconciliation of
tax-related returns and challans
· Ensuring maintenance of statutory records and
documentation
· Coordinating for timely statutory payments and
filings
5. Accounting, Reconciliation and
Reporting
· Supporting accounting entries related to salary
and retirement funds
· Preparation of reconciliations between books of
accounts and statutory records
· Assisting in audit support, documentation and
query resolution
· Preparation of periodic management information
reports and dashboards
6. Process Improvement and System
Support
· Supporting system testing, data validation and
automation initiatives
· Assisting in process documentation and standard
operating procedures
· Identifying opportunities for improving
efficiency and internal controls.
Requirements
Eligibility
Criteria
· Chartered Accountant Intermediate / Cost and
Management Accountant Intermediate/ Postgraduate degree in Finance, Commerce,
or Management
· 0–3 years of relevant experience in finance,
payroll finance, compliance, taxation, or employee benefit fund operations
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and
financial data handling
· Good communication and coordination skills.
Skills Required
