Salary: £24,375 per annum, plus company benefits
Location: Birmingham, B4 6WR
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Shifts: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, rotational shifts between 7am and 7pm with 1 hours unpaid lunch break

Purpose of role
The Floor Support Assistant will perform all Floor Support operations requested by a customer without direct supervision. This includes, e-filing/filing, archive management, sending and delivery of fax documents, processing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing mail/messenger and courier items, copying and scanning, and completing general administrative duties as required. You will also be working closely with Microsoft applications, so a good understanding is essential.
The Floor Support Assistant remains accountable for establishing and maintaining an ongoing service-based relationship with the client and customers and will be able to recognise and translate customer needs and expectations into a responsive service.
Key responsibilities
Reprographics/Scanning

Prioritise jobs and run them to meet customer requirements and deadlines

Provide photocopying and scanning as per customer instructions

Copy documents using large Photocopiers

Scan documents using large scanners
-
Print documents
-
Manage outlook inbox and email customers if required

Reschedule deadlines with customers
-
Entre job details onto a workflow application accurately

Quality check documents so they are of a high standard with minimal errors

Maintain equipment to a good working order and troubleshoot problems, place service calls when needed

Follow all stock and consumable procedures. Replenish copiers with all consumables
Administrative

Collect and accurately input monthly forecast information

Collect and complete any information required for billing or client charge back data

Utilises appropriate paperwork for all Intelligent Office work

Ensure that job requests are tracked on system properly before beginning new request

Understand and comply with Docucentre Corporate Standards. Constantly seek ways to improve operations and suggest and implement approved ideas

Sort and distribute incoming, sort and stamp outgoing mail

Record all incoming/outgoing special mail, messenger, and courier companies

Arrange all deliveries and collection times with mail, messenger, and courier companies
