***Part- Time 19 Hours Per Week, Pay Rate: $13.50 Per Hour***
Summary/Primary Purpose: Responsible for submitting bills to Divisional Headquarters (DHQ) and preparing bank deposits. Also assist with Food Pantry needs and clients when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open incoming mail (always with another staff present) and distribute to the appropriate staff.
- Forward receipts (for payment/reimbursement) to Divisional Headquarters (DHQ) for payment and processing.
- Fill out bank deposits with complete accuracy.
- Copy donor checks and submit to DHQ as required.
- Type thank you letters to donors and mail out in a timely manner.
- Keep good and concise records of all booking, receipting and other donations.
- Assist with answering incoming telephone calls.
- Assist with methodical and consistent handling of client records, while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Assist with food pantry needs and clients as needed.
- Enter daily kettle amounts into “Register to Ring”-Seasonal
- Driving is an essential function of this position.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three months experience in the related field.

- Ability to be flexible and able to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Intermediate computer skills to include utilizing various office equipment, with ability to access payroll, timekeeping and personal data via a web-based system.
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong independent judgement.
Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 30 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.
