Office / Data Entry Assistants

Work cooperatively with program directors and summer staff to ensure the smooth operation of administration and customer service tasks for camp. Assist with entering camp data including camper registrations as well as processing payments. Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and email programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with answering phones, email, and parent communication to provide excellent customer service to camper families.
  • Utilize camps’ registration database and Excel to enter camper data, and produce required reporting each week as requested by program directors.
  • Process financial transactions and maintain receipts for camp purchases.
  • Provide emotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by following behavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual and during training.
  • Greet parents and campers professionally and with a smile, using appropriate language.

Requirements
  • Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite and database programs required.
  • A desire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness to put the needs of campers first.
  • Able to effectively communicate ideas, thoughts, and instructions in a constructive manner.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal supervision.
  • Be willing to learn new concepts and skills.
  • Able to work in a team and both give and take direction from others.
  • Willingness to adhere to camp’s code of conduct, rules, and policies.


Benefits

Starting pay $4050 for 11 week summer. Additional $100 credit in camp store for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundry included. Weekend work is required, this position requires availability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contract period. One 1-hour breaks provided each day, and 1 scheduled day off each week.
