Camp: June 6 - Aug 7 (9 weeks)
- Assist with answering phones, email, and parent communication to provide excellent customer service to camper families.
- Utilize camps’ registration database and Excel to enter camper data, and produce required reporting each week as requested by program directors.
- Process financial transactions and maintain receipts for camp purchases.
- Provide emotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by following behavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual and during training.
- Greet parents and campers professionally and with a smile, using appropriate language.
Requirements
- Proficiency with computer software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite and database programs required.
- A desire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness to put the needs of campers first.
- Able to effectively communicate ideas, thoughts, and instructions in a constructive manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal supervision.
- Be willing to learn new concepts and skills.
- Able to work in a team and both give and take direction from others.
- Willingness to adhere to camp’s code of conduct, rules, and policies.
Benefits
Starting
pay $4050 for 11 week summer. Additional $100 credit in camp
store for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundry
included. Weekend work is required, this position requires
availability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contract
period. One 1-hour breaks provided each day, and 1 scheduled day off
each week.

What We Do
Cub Creek Science Camp is a residential summer camp for children and teens ages 7-17, focused on science, animals, and nature. Founded in 1993, it features its own private zoo with over 300 animals and a six-element ropes course. Its mission is to provide a fun, educational environment where curious children can explore their interests under the guidance of motivating staff.
