Job Summary:

Working on our commissioning team (VSC Group) as an Office Administrator, you will be providing valuable administrative support to the operations team and management.

In this new role, you will:

  • Provide support for the VSC Operations Team and Management
  • Assist and complete as required RFP / RFQ responses and fee proposals
  • Assist business development team
  • Manage VSC document controls systems internally and externally
  • Create and develop program documentation
  • Daily accounting operations (team expenses, credit card reconciliation, collections, and other accounting as needed)
  • Additional duties as required

You will be a great fit if you have/are:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to respond thoughtfully and effectively to sensitive situations.
  • Able to prioritize effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Required Skills/abilities:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of business experience
  • Previous work experience in the construction and/or consulting industry is desirable
  • Relevant post-secondary education is an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Accountable for all deliverables and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in a multi-task dynamic work environment
  • Excellent problem solver
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles

Location:  Toronto, Ontario, Canada (on-site)

Travel: Occasional travel may be required (5% locally)

Compensation: Annual salary range: $60,000 to $75,000 CAD commensurate with experience
