Waste Connections is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
PAY:
• $19 - $20 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage daily administrative operation.
•Promote Waste Connections standard operating procedures, which assure efficient environmentally correct and safe workplace practices.
•Demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
•Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes & demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
•Speaks with customers and records information into computer for customer service, talks with customers by phone and in person, to receive orders for installation, turn on, discontinuance, or change in service.
•Collect past due payments from customers.
•Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records and issues discontinuance orders.
•Demonstrate effective use of software applications, at a minimum MS Word and Excel proficient.
•Dispatching to drivers.
•Delivers services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill. Interacts with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine service requirements and resolve problems or complaints.
•Other duties assigned as needed.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be detailed oriented and well organized.
•Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
•1 year of experience preferred with consistent job history.
