This person will assist front office personnel with preparing documents, and keeping the office organized and ready for business. The position requires regular interaction with the production floor employees and all levels of management.

Responsibilities include answering and directing incoming phone calls, handling incoming mail, performing clerical tasks, ordering, and stocking supplies, taking messages, and other clerical and administrative duties as required. This person will assist front office personnel with preparing documents, and keeping the office organized and ready for business. Requirements:

  • Greet visitors. Will maintain plant security by monitoring incoming visitors.
  • Answer telephones and connect callers to the appropriate person.
  • Welcome and direct visitors and deliveries.
  • Respond in an appropriate, timely manner to all internal and external requests for information.
  • Will assist and complete audit of company supplies and equipment. Provide input on supplies and equipment to be ordered and help to stock them on arrival.
  • Oversee mail deliveries, packages, or couriers.
  • Handle clerical tasks such as photocopying, filing, mailing, and scanning.
  • Proficiently use Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel.
  • Continually evaluate current procedures to ensure that the most effective means are being used to meet assigned goals.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Qualifications

Professional Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Clerical and computer knowledge, experience in customer service.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of current office practices, procedures, and techniques.
  • Demonstrate oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven record of successful customer service in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow up on tasks from start to finish.
  • Demonstrates the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of basic GMP’s (good manufacturing practices) and Industrial Safety.
  • Team player, professional, trustworthy.

Skills Required

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred)
