OVERVIEW
Interactive Brokers seeks an Offensive Security Manager to lead Penetration Testing and Red Team operations in India. The role involves managing a team focused on advanced adversarial simulation, vulnerability discovery, and security control validation. Reports to North American executive leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor penetration testers and red team specialists
- Manage workloads and professional development
- Foster global team collaboration
- Drive technical excellence
Offensive Security Operations:
- Direct advanced penetration testing and red team engagements
- Oversee testing across applications, networks, and cloud environments
- Lead social engineering assessments
- Develop custom offensive security tools
- Simulate sophisticated adversary tactics
Strategic Functions:
- Partner with Blue Team on detection/response improvements
- Guide vulnerability remediation efforts
- Integrate threat intelligence into operations
- Contribute to security strategy development
- Ensure compliance with testing standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- 10+ years in cybersecurity
- 3+ years leading penetration testing/red team operations
Technical Skills:
- Advanced manual penetration testing expertise
- Red team methodology knowledge (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Proficiency with security tools (Burp Suite, Cobalt Strike, etc.)
- Programming/scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell)
- Cloud security testing experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Leadership Abilities:
- Proven team management experience
- Executive communication skills
- Project management capabilities
- Strategic planning expertise
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant certifications (OSCP, OSCE, CREST)
- Social engineering campaign experience
- DevSecOps knowledge
