Currently the Carole Park team is seeking an Operational Excellence (OE) Specialist to join our OE Team for a 12 month contract.
The Operational Excellence Specialist will support the Operational Excellence Lead to identify and implement process improvement strategies across the Carole Park Site. Working in partnership with departmental leads, the OE Specialist will focus on identifying and removing waste and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support the Carole Park site's strategic objectives around Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.
Main responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives across the Carole Park Site.
Research, gather, and analyse complex data and business processes to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Present clear and concise prioritised recommendations to drive targeted business outcomes.
Liaise with and manage the expectations of area stakeholders to assess opportunities and design improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with area stakeholders and SMEs, to deliver continuous process improvement initiatives that remove constraints whilst focusing on safety, quality, cost and delivery.
Develop, coordinate and deliver workshops or training programs around process improvement initiatives that target specific business opportunities
Coach and mentor operational leaders and frontline teams on process improvement methodologies
Report any deviations in processing or procedures immediately
Participate in Operational Excellence workshops and training
Manage your work efficiently and cost effectively to meet Operations plans and targets
About you:
Experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment (desirable) i.e. GMP, or Food Manufacturing
Advanced computer and data analysis skills (desirable)
Experience in identifying process inefficiencies and executing process improvement projects
Experience in using data to drive process improvements (essential)
Coaching and educating on key Continuous Improvement methodologies (essential)
Demonstrated experience applying Operational Excellence methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving. Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs is desirable.
