Odoo Developer

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Remote

Role Overview:
The Odoo Developer will be responsible for designing, customizing, and implementing core Python and JavaScript modules to build tailored business applications. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to integrate systems, optimize database performance, and ensure smooth deployment across client environments. The ideal candidate will maintain clean, scalable code and continuously enhance ERP solution functionalities.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo ERP applications and modules.

• Analyze client business requirements and translate them into functional technical solutions.

• Develop custom Python backend logic, custom XML/QWeb views, and JavaScript frontend components.

• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems, APIs, and external databases.

• Perform database optimization, migration, and troubleshooting using PostgreSQL.

• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and quality assurance teams.

• Document technical specifications, architecture designs, and customization processes.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Odoo Developer with hands-on experience in Odoo module customization and development.

• Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.

• Deep understanding of Odoo ORM, architecture, framework, and security models.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Experience with Odoo Enterprise edition and cloud deployment platforms (Odoo.sh, AWS, or Docker).

• Odoo Developer Certification.

• Knowledge of core business processes including Accounting, Inventory, CRM, Sales, and HR modules.
